Recycling…

The College currently collects the following:

  • Glass – all communal kitchens, CR and bar
  • Plastic – kitchens in Richard Laws only
  • Paper – post area, library, Norfolk computer room

Want to recycle more?

The following recycling bins are available in the bin area for student use:

paper  |  cardboard  |  plastic bottles  |  cans  |  glass

There are also:

  • Charity clothing/Shoes collection box in the Laundry Building
  • Charity Collection bin (Salvation Army) at the back of the maisonettes
  • Battery recycling box in the Library Building (top of the spiral staircase)
  • Used Ink Cartridge envelopes for the Macmillan Cancer Support inkjet appeal in the Library Building (next to the battery recycling box)

See map for more info: Recycling facilities at St Edmund’s

There are many student-run recycling schemes in the communal kitchens.  Want to set one up in your kitchen? Your Environmental Officers can help you with labels and boxes!
